TREADT(The Rural Education And Development Trust) is a registered NGO (Non Government Organisation) established to serve the children who are intellectually challenged, without any profit motive. TREADT runs a special school to provide whole some education and support intellectually challenged children. Currently the school has a strength of around 90 children.

In this endeavour we are thankful to all our present, past trustees and our well wishers without whom the journey so far would not have been possible.

Helping children to help themselves

The children have different awareness, interests and aptitudes. It becomes very important for the school and other adults give them the required more extensive and individualized support. Children get the following facilities at the school

  • Special care and education by our well trained teachers to develop the creativity in the children.

  • Special training by physio and speech therapist on regular basis.

  • Training on vocational courses.

  • Bus facility to pick up and drop the children.

  • Nutritious Mid-day meal.

All donations are exempted under 80G of the India Income Tax Act.

As a concerned individual, corporate house, development institution or a funding agency, you can play an active role in the work we set for ourselves. Because our resources are limited and constantly need replenishing, as the task on hand is daunting and the resources we can muster are our movement. You can volunteer professional expertise, make contributions in cash or kind or give us access to any of your facilities and infrastructure that will further the causes we espouse.

Buy from us

As a part of our vocational course trainings, children make Candles, Chalks, Envelopes, Greeting cards and Painted pots. You can also support us buying these products.

We take limited orders that can be fulfilled by the limited resources we have. Please get in touch with us and let us know your requirements.

Currently the school is operating at a rented premises, which is insufficient and cramped. There is urgent need for a new home, not only for the existing children but also for many more children who need help. For more info please click here.
